I'm thinking about getting a Bakflip F1 #72312 For my STA.

I would really like it's low profile look and the fact I can brace it right up by the rear window so I have more bed space.

The Bakflip F1 is stupid expenisve though! Like...Ford OEM expensive!!

The cover is in mint condition. It has 7000 miles of going back and forth to work 40mph daily. It's seen one winter.

What should I ask for my cover? I don't see many on the boards and they are even more rare on eBay.

Okay, to be wholly accurate:

Bought a cover which was still in its box, attached to the forklift pallet which Ford uses to ship them, both were never separated (all plastic tension straps complete), from HOCKEYFAN. When he bought his Adren, the dealer gave him one, but the truck arrived with one on it. So, he resold to me his "not new" but 100% equivalent of what a dealer would sell new, and looked as if it came from the dealer new because it was 100% the same, cover for $500 for my Pop's Adren. Included shipping from MO to PA via UPS.

Bene?

Thats as close to new as you can get!

I was looking through the swap & sell. Looks like Gen2 units with hardware sell for about $500 plus shipping. I saw one come off a 07 Gen2 that went for $350 with way more miles and sun exposure than mine.

I guess I'd ask $500 plus shipping.

Sucks that the cover I want is another $500 ontop of the sale of my cover. I don't know if it's worth it. The OEM cover's don't leak and they are pretty strong.

I can't believe you scored that for $500 shipped N/U-IB. You got a better deal than anyone else that has ever bought a GenII cover through MYST.

No wonder you jumped on that. HOCKEYFAN kind of let that go to cheap!

Great buy!

Truth be told, I'd have paid $500 + shipping for yours if you had it for sale then and I didn't get this. Still a very fair price for a low mileage, nearly new cover.

I'm a dummy: It was $600 (looked through archived e-mail). $500 + $100 to ship; if it cost more, he'd cover it, and if less, I'd eat it. Seemed a fair way to handle something the shipping of which was not easily calculable before he got to the UPS Store.

Well, I will talk to my wife about the Bakflip F1 and if she and I decide it's something worth doing, I'll sell mine for $500 plus shipping.

If anyone wants to tag this I can tell her it's pre-sold. That would help us move forward.
