Fuse panel location?

I need to pull a couple of fuses from the interior fuse panel. The manual says the panel is below the instrument panel on the driver's side. I can't see the fuses or a removable panel. I'd assume it wouldn't be necessary to unbolt and pull interior trim panels to get to it.

Can someone help me?

On my '01, it's on the left side of the dash, hidden by the door when the door is closed.

Thanks, I'll look again. I took the kick panel off and still couldn't see it.

I think it's farther under and you don't need to remove any panels (but I have a '01).
