gear selector

Aloha,

The gear selector on my 02 automatic is showing the wrong gear! Is there a post on adjusting it? Thanks Ed

Do a search. It has been awhile, but someonr did post a way to fix it. If I remember, there is a bolt that comes loose, under the dash. Also ther maybe more involved.

Well, I took a look and it seems to be more work that I thought. Under the steering column is a metal plate covered by a plastic cover. The plastic is attached to the hood latch. I can't fit under the dash to hunt around for screws and nuts, so it will have to go to the shop for this.
