Good price for shocks. After 35500 miles I figured its time for new shocks. I shopped all around and nobody could come close to the price Sears had. Four Monroe Reflex shocks installed for 289.76 including tax. Shocks were 211.96, installation 64.00 plus the tax total 289.76. The shocks were about the same price at Napa and Checker and a couple of other places, but the installation was as high as 160.00. I don’t have the time to do it myself so installation had to be part of the package. They will install them next week. Also had the tranny flush and fuel filter changed this week at Ford. 108.15 for the flush and 44.95 for the filter, parts and labor. Also had brakes checked and I have about 7000 miles left on them. For OEM brakes I think I did pretty good getting 40k out of them. Still have half the rubber left on the Goodyears. That’s good and bad. Good tire life but no traction. If I didn’t have four wheel drive they would have been gone long time ago. I live in Wisconsin.

Not a bad price on the Trans. stuff. Good mileage on the brakes. Do them yourself if you can, and as for the tires, I wish i still had that much tread on my Mich's. I'm gonna try to squeak one more winter out of mine. Looks like I'll be driving like I have Mrs. Daisy in with me all winter here in Pa.;)

Toss the Goodyears anyway, before you wreck. I killed a set on the '02 Ranger I used to have, only 20k or so on them, but they were pretty thin and useless in rain and snow. Could hardly keep it on the road even in 4wd. Head back to Sears and get some Bridgestones.
