Thanks for accepting me into the group. I’m a fan of the first generation model. I’m on my third one currently. I’m recently retired and looking to use this one for recreational purposes. I’m interested in seeing what others have done along these lines and tips on keeping it roadworthy.

Is your 2001 a Job1 with the "pretzel" Intake, or the later 2001 Job2 version?
As a 3 time Gen1 owner, you're likely very aware of
the quirks+weaknesses in this drivetrain and the remedies available.
