One year old today -- 16 Oct 05. He reached 29,000 miles yesterday as well. Better than my first ST which had 35,908 when I traded it at 1 yr and 5 days. :D

Already did the 30K service last week, to include tranny flush at Ford. I asked them to make sure they put in the friction modifier, and they informed me the new tranny fluid is reformulated. The original had a rust inhibitor that caused the throttle body to stick. The "friction modifier" offset the effects of the rust inhibitor, supposedly. The tranny seems slightly smoother, unless it is just my imagination. In any case, I have a little peace of mind knowing I had Ford do this service.

ST is still running better than new (with the aftermarket shocks.) :D

My Trac is just over three years old. 57,xxx miles on her.

Tom

ps, Nelson, do you really want to think of your Trac as a guy? I mean, would you rather ride a guy or a girl?;) Just some food for thought...LOL

Happy B-day! Nelson, are u celebrating the date of purchase or actual production roll out? Mine rolled out a year ago last month and I just hit 20K miles. Aside from the 30K service, what'd you give her for the b-day?

LOL @ Caymen.

Well, if it's purchased date, mine's coming up here real soon too...

It'll be my 4th 'birthday', and I turned 79k last week. To celebrate, I'll have to take it out off-roading more!

Flip, date of purchase. My weekend was busy, but I may have some time Monday to get a present. Thinking about either a new head unit or safari bar w/ PIAA lights.

I'm getting ready to put new tile in my house, fiancee's birthday is next month and Christmas is just around the corner, so my budget may be limited. He may just have to live with a good detail.

Tom, I don't ride my truck...I drive it. Cowboys sometimes ride male horses, but does that make them less in any way? :D

edit: Good idea Krash...and a much cheaper (and fun) option.

How do you find out the actual roll-out day? I know my 02 must have been built about this time, four years ago. Also, how old is 4 ST years in people years?

TomT, that's like the abortion debate...is she your baby when she is conceived in the factory, or when she is delivered to you on the dealer's lot several months later.

Depending on your viewpoint the birthdate is one or the other.

TJR

TomT, I might have read the build date off of the original window sticker, if not off some other paper work obtained at time of purchase.
