Heated seats with remote start

Does any one know how to get the heated seats to be on durring remote start. It is a dealer installed Ford remote start. I figured that all I needed to do was turn them on before shutting the truck down.....but the must turn off and reset when the key is off. Does anyone have any ideas ? Can the other buttons on the remote be programmed to turn the seats on ??

Unfortunately not.....



ALSO on my 04 if you turn them on and your not sitting in the seat it does not heat the seat up.... So either way it would not work for me..

That's a bummer, but you can at least leave the heater on "frantic" and that will help.

Another option would be to pull them off the factory switch and wire them to a hotwire with a relay to the ACC wire and with a different toggle switch. Leave the toggle switch on so it feeds the relay and will in turn put power to the seats. This is all based on if the ACC will activate with the remote start also.

In my 2005 if I turn the heated seats on they are always on till I turn them off. I hate it.
