I have been having intermitent problems with a rough idle when first starting my ST when it is raining out or after washing it. Today I decided to clean the IAC, MAF, and Throttle Body. After cleaning all three it now idles at 2000RPM and will not com down. Now I wish I did these individually, since now I'm not sure which of the three could be causing this. Any ideas of what the problem could be or how to trouble shoot? I am going to go disconnect the battery for a while and see if resetting the computer will help.

I just went out and started it one last time before I was going to disconnect the battery and it idled down fine. Not sure what the problem was. Maybe some residual cleaner? I had started it three times and it would not idle down below 2000 RPM. Anyway it seems fine now.

Any other ideas of what could be causing my initial problem with the rough idle in damp or wet conditions? It is intermitent, so it will be a while until know if any of the things I've already done have helped. It has about 80,000 miles and I had just changed the plugs, but had the problem before that. I probably should have changed the wires when I did the plugs since they were so hard to get at. When are the wires due to be changed?
