I have a "friend of a friend" trying to sell me a 2007 Honda Aquatrax (3 seater, turbo) w/ 14 hours. It is garage kept and comes with a new Triton LXT trailer. It is still under warranty. He is wanting to sell it for $8400. I'm not to familiar with watercrafts but does that seem like a good deal?

not familiar with honda watercraft.

it's been awhile, but for the 10 plus years i owned them kawasaki & yamaha were my choice.

look around as the market is very soft and you probably would get a very good deal on a new one.

one thing to keep in mind is that they require alot of care & maintenance.

i will get 2 when we make the perm move to fla.

good luck

Not a bad price if your are going to use it. So far it has cost your "friend of a friend" about $1,000 dollars a hour, or $350 a hour if he sells it for $8400. He could have rented one for $60.00 a hour and been way ahead.

Depends on how much you are going to use it. Have you been on one before. If not try one out first. The problem I have found with them is after about after 30 min., you are looking for something to race or jump. You really need a friend with one to enjoy. Not good to fish out of or in no wake zones. Great fun in about a 5 foot surf, racing, or trick riding. Unfortunately, not with this model.

"Great fun in about a 5 foot surf"

yea, like moriches inlet on long isle as well as the atlantic coast on long isle.

agree with redfish, use it often or it's not worth it and try them out first.

in your profile you list tenn as your home, so i would assume it would be lake riding. imo, nowhere near the excitement of ocean or gulf riding.

side note: redfish just left beautiful citrus county on sunday. wow, the best weather yet!

had my fav fast food on 19, hardee's and ate at cody's!!!! chicken fried steak, mmmm

goin back north from sarasota tonight

PWC's depreciate at an incredible rate (I have one). Try KBB.com or someplace to get a value, add $1000 or so for the trailer. The Honda is a nice unit but that price sounds high to me, low hours or not. With only 14 hours on an '07 you need to be sure that it was stored and/or winterized properly.
