Hey everyone!!

I've got some large pieces of furniture to move. For some reason I think it'll be easier if I just temp. remove my bed extender. Does anyone know how?:(:(:(

It comes off the pivot pin by pulling the release clips toward the middle of the bed and then lifting the frame off the pin. The extender must be in the extended position to accomplish this.

One other caution.. There is a lock feature that could prevent you from actuating the clips if the lock screws are in place. I suspect you won't find that condition if you are not familiar with it's function as you would have had to lock it yourself to start with.

The lock screws mentioned above have Phillips heads on them. If you turn them to the right I think that is the way to remove the lock feature. You should be able to see the lock mechanism move away from the clip as you turn it.

I have never had either of my Tracs locked. You do not need the lock for the Extender to function properly.

If you do not have a Hard cover I suppose the lock may help with theft....
