That has always been the problem with all new automotive technology. Even when Diesel cars and pickups were introduced to the US back in the 1980, most gas stations did not have a Diesel fuel pump....People had to go to Truck-Stops for fuel.
Like the electric or natural gas cars, there is no refueling infastructure in place now. However, I forsee that there will eventually be many refueling stations along the way, similar to our network of gas stations. I suspect that even the existing gas stations will include recharging stations for electric cars, natural gas refueling stations and air compressor stations to provide compressed air. If that happens, I would imagine that the chargers could recharge a battery and the NG stations air compressors could fill a tank in just a few minutes...not much difference in time than it takes to fill the gas tank? I also think that car makers would include standard connection or refill ports to use these highspeed refueling stations.
