Interrior lock switch lights

I noticed the other day that my interior lock switch lights stay on all night. Only those, no other. Has anyone else noticed this or had this problem. I don't remember seeing anything about this in the owners manual.

They don't stay on all night, I believe a member here timed them around 20min. It's a safety feature, and they're LEDs, so they barely draw any power at all. You can run several and only draw a miniscule fraction of what the overhead lights use.
