I got 8500 out of the stock Michelins...

I'm now down to 4/32nds on the Toyos. I love them. They've been discontinued, but I found 4 in a warehouse in Columbus, OH, so I bought them and they'll patiently sit here waiting for me to finish killing their brothers.



I'm now trying to figure out what I'll do for tires next January when I kill the new Toyos. Any suggestions? Needs to be Z rated, and look streety.

I'm about to start my 3rd set on this truck. It has 21,500 miles on it.

Can't say I have.......I think back to all the cars I've ever owned and only changed the tires one time. But that was back when I used to drag race on Sunset blvd.

Why would you need Z rated tires?

First of all, yes I can light up my one tire on dry pavement just fine. Open diff. I kill them by turning.



Secondly, I was asking for tire suggestions, not debating torque.

I don't keep a dyno in my pocket, so that one's out. How 'bout I'll post pics of my odometer and my tires. In 40 years, I'll be able to afford a Roush, too.

I can't help you with tire types.......the one and only time I changed mine, I bought retreads.

I have driven with dingo, I spent the some time with a giant grin on my face some of the time laughing hysterically and the rest of the time saying weeeeeeeeeeeeee! It was a fun ride to say the least.

Andy, were they they same price or did you get a better deal? Not ready to replace mine anytime, but might be nice to put up a set like you have.
