Hey Guys.

I put a K&N filter charger kit in my 01 ST, I noticed that my Check Engine light turned on and it won't go off even after I reset my computer. Is this a common issue? Should I be worried? Is there any way to fix this problem?

If you are removing your silencer (good move), I would highly recommend getting a K&N drop in filter. Remember to disconnect the battery so the computer will relearn. Good luck.

I just read that in another post I am not sure if that it right or not, i did not disconnect my battery before putting in the k&n air filter does that matter?

Never had a problem when I installed mine, have had it in for over a year now with no problems. I would check all your connections.

Ape Out.

Maybe the filter was overoiled from the factory and got the MAF sensor dirty.

Be shure all conections and small hoses fit tight.

Disconect negative on battery for at least 30min.
