Key number for factory tonneau cover locks

I am now the owner of a factory tonneau cover. I will be installing it this weekend. It came with 2 locks that I have to set the tumblers to work with my key. It needs to know what key set (number) I have. Where can I find what my key set (number) is? Is it in the sport trac manual, on the car door?

I don't know the answer to your question but I believe if you bring your tonneau locks and your Trac key to a locksmith he can set them up to work with your key.

Mike has the best answer going that I know of as well.



The dealer can give you some details based on your VIN. But I am not sure if it is something they would do for free. If not, the Lock-Smith is your best option.
