Has anyone tried the keys and remotes made for sport trac that you can buy at sears? I just got an extra key at the ford dealer ship and it cost me $75 bucks.

You need to find a locksmith that is also a automotive locksmith. I needed a extra key and call several locksmith that were also automotive lock smith . I got prices from $48.00 to $125.00. for the key and getting it programed. There is a web site that you can buy a key with a chip and they tell you how to program it. I will see if I can find it and post it for you.

When you have 2 keys. You can buy a 3rd for about $25, and program it yourself. Instructions in your owners manual..

Dont have to buy it @ ford dealer..
