I agree. I am calling this the "King James' Power Hour". IMO, this is too arrogant.

holy crap,

breaking news : forget lebron, tom agrees with me

j/k tom. what will be the mood in ohio if he leaves? i am sure alot of angry people.

he is sending a message that he thinks he is better then everyone else

that is unless he comes to the nj nets :bwahaha:

Another big pile of $hit just landed on Cleveland, just put it over there with the rest.

If Bosh woulda came here he woulda stayed, I'm blaming Bosh.

He knows that as long as he plays in Cleveland, he will never get a Championship.

I don't blame him.

gary s.

I read somewhere the reason for the press conference, was to donate all the proceeds from the announcement to the Boys and Girls Club of America. This is what James Lebron wanted. Thats why it was held in a B And G Club. Please, some one correct meif I am wrong.

The Cav's owner is an idiot.

He said James deserted the Cavs and his leaving was a cowardly betrayal.

To him I say get over yourself. It's the NBA. That's business. He'd feel different if he was gaining a star player.

He went on to babble, "I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER 'KING' WINS ONE" .

Let me know how that works out for you. Idiot.

Professional sports is nothing but big business. 3M or Boeing is a business, but you don't see people setting up bleachers to go watch employees make Post-It notes or airplane wings. It's just silly how people willfully give hard-earned money to another corporation to watch its employees do their jobs.

It's crazier for them to care about it.

"He was here for 7 yrs. He does not owe us anything at that point..."

you mean he did nothing for you the past 7 years.

sorry, but he didn't show up against the celtics in the playoffs and then was a BIG babby when they lost.

lebron, are you as great as you say you are ???

Gary,

I will agree he didn't show up. But I think it was just one of those days kind of things. I will also agree he picked a bad day to not show up.

My point about the 7 years was, we (we being Cleveland and the Cleveland Cavs) did not provide the other players needed to win a championship. I think he wanted to stay here but truly felt it would get no better than it was last season.

I realize he is young, but he wants a ring and he is good enough to seriously contribute to a team.

As far as being a baby, I will go with the he is young thing again. He has handled his young success MUCH better than most. His mother has gotten into more trouble than he has...

"I was hoping LeBron was going to go to the Nets. Gary would be singing out loud that LeBron is the greatest."

NOT the greatest, but sure the nets need all the help they can get.

So here's a question--By defecting, and especially by the way he did it with such a ridiculous dog-and-pony show, how severely has LeBron hurt his public image, and therefore his marketing income capabilities? Most people I've talked to were left with a very negative impression of his handling of the whole process.
