Liftmaster 8500 garage door openers - any experience?

Finally got my 24X30 garage built. Looking at garage door openers. I'm looking at the Liftmaster 8500 garage side mount door openers. Does anyone here have any experience with this model opener or have any experience with other side mounted openers?

My only thought is dont buy the cheaper standard HP motor. Go for upgrade in HP...

The two Liftmaster 8500 openers were installed last Friday. Very nice installation and they work very quiet and smooth. No MyQ since I'm old school....LOL! They have some very nice features and I'm happy with them.

I have the same door openers - one on a 20' door and one on a 10' door. Have had them on for about 2 years now and have not had a problem at all. Much quieter than standard chain drive or belt drive, plus do not have the center mass taking up ceiling space in the garage. I think you will enjoy having them.
