Mystic Paint on Sport Trac?

If memory serves, there was a "mystic" cobra in the late 1990's. Ford painted it, what looked, blue, then turned black and so on. From what I know from the mustang forums I frequent (use to have a stang), that color scheme or paint rather, is pretty expensive to do and to have redone.

I think the ST would look good like that, My only concern is if you daily drive it, and park it in public places.....

That "shape-shifter" paint was made by dupont. The problem came matching the paint in accidents and warrenty work, etc. Plus was super, and I mean super, expensive. Your looking at $4,000 to $5,000 for the paint job alone, not including prep and clear.
 
Tanner, If you click on the "M" next to Dave's name in that link it will take you to his Member profile and his info. I think he's in IL, but he sold his truck last year to his son after someone stole it and trashed it. He owns a bodyshop, so he was able to repair it (again).
