Gavin -- Up where I live, we wear tooks too... we just call them hats. Beauty, eh?

I dunno. We just wear hats around here. Mainly ball caps.

I had some of that peameal bacon when I worked in Canada several years ago. That is some damn good stuff. The beer wasn't bad either.

No one messed with me because I told them that everyone in the US carries hand guns. They believed me.

I don't know. If there's no more Sport Tracs, then I might be out of the Ford circle. I hope it doesn't come to Ford closing for good. That would be horrible for American history and furture of the automobile.

* Chrysler is no longer an American Car Company.

* The U.A.W. is Not responsible for the design, engineering or sales/marketing of

ANY vehicle we produce. As a matter of fact when we try to give any feedback to the

Engineers on the floor, they look at us like we are "caged monkeys", or something!

* The Ford Escort GT and the Ford EXP and the Merkur XR4Ti (remember that one!)

were the first cars marketed with an "asymmetrical grille", rather than a "bi-lateral"

style. This made the front ends, anyway, look cool and unique. A simple styling

trick, to be sure, but it made them different!

* Had good luck with Sloan Ford Dealership on my last three Ford/Mercury purchases,

and excellent service under warranty (yes, I've had to have service under warranty!).

But the service manager there did not mumble under his breath (thinking I couldn't

hear him) what a pain in the arse I was, and I must be imagining things! This, said

just before I pulled out of my pocket, the warranty service bulletin that I had printed

right off of "G.M. Techlink", their own mechanics website!!!!!!!!!!! That's why Lucas

Chevrolet is personally responsible for putting me in my 'Trac!!! (Thank You, Lucas!!!)

Ford biggest mistake was cutting back on the car lines. At one time, they had a full line of cars. Festiva, Escort, Tempo, Taurus, and Crown Vic.

And, I know you will say different, but to most people when they hear Festiva, Escort, Tempo, and Taurus they think crap, poop, shite, and dung....The Crown Vic has a pretty could rep though.

Don't shoot the messenger.
