Cowboys won tonight, first team offense looked good, bledsoe looked really good. I was glad to see Chris Canty played well and i think he will be the steal of the draft.

Yes Blake Clark, your Cowboy's might have won tonight but that doesn't mean anything. It's preseason. Your first team offense looked good cause you were playing against the Jags 2nd team defense. The only first string defensive person who played for the Jags was Kenny Wright, whom did not have any passes come his way mind you. Bledsoe used his head and picked on our 3rd round pick cornerback Scott Starks for all his long passes. Bledsoe is, and will always be, a statue.

And to Chris Riley.... The "Cardiac Cats" were the Jaguars last year, not the Panthers.

GO JAGS!!!!

Fair enough, fair enough, the only reason we played so much of the first stringers on offense is because they are all still so new to each other, but you have to admit, they did look good. Man was that a run on sentence or what? Anyway, TO THE REGULAR SEASON WE GO!:D

The Owens issue in Philly showed it true colors last week. 7 catches for over 100 yards. What issue does anyone have with that (unless you're going to face the Birds)? Eagles will be in the Super Bowl again. The NFC has Atlanta, Vikings, Panthers that have a chance. The AFC will be up for grabs. Colts can't beat the Pats. The Steelers don't look very good. Can Brees put it together like he did last year? Lots of options.

My prediction...if the Colts can secure homefield adavantage in the playoffs, Eagles vs. Colts SuperBowl. If not, Pats vs. Birds...part II.

Not to turn this topic too far toward all the Katrina disaster threads--but where will the Saints be playing? I've heard rumors that they may play their home games in San Antonio, or at Tiger Stadium (LSU, not Detroit), or even in the LA Coliseum (as a prelude to their move to LA, that had been in discussions well prior to Katrina). Any thoughts on what they will do? Any thoughts on what they should do?

Vikings fan here. If my team plays like it looks on paper we should be playing well into January. Culpepper should have a big year again and has looked in midseason form in the preseason. Without Moss to focus on we should have a more balanced passing attack. The defense should be a lot better. (that doesn't take much) This is the first time in a long time that I'm just as excited to watch the Vikings on defense as I am on offense. Go Vikings!:D

Vikesfan--Watching a far-below-average Packers team play outdoors is still far better and more exciting than watching the Viqueens have to play in a DOME. :)

(Side note--I'm a Twin Cities resident, who despite not being a fan of the team, fully supports them getting that new stadium in Blaine.)

Bill V - I would love for them to get the new outdoor stadium in Blaine. Football is ment to be played outdoors! I love the idea of a retractable roof stadium that they have proposed. I think Wilf will get it done!

Travis, The Panthers were called the Cardiac cats when they went to the Superbowl !! They made such a comeback from not even coming close to making to kicking ass and made it. So thats why i said that. I AM still a Carolina Panthers Fan to the end. Later on, Riley:cool:
