Ordered my '07, question for current '07 owners...

Well I went ahead and ordered my '07 today. The order will go in on next Tuesday and I will have the VIN that day (they told me they get it the day it is entered into the system). Details on the new one first, then the question: I got a Limited 4x4 with the V8 in the DarkBlue Pearl Clearcoat Metallic. Haven't seen anything other that red/dark cherry around here. Thought I would be different. I got the Dark Charcoal 2 tone leather interior and all the bells and whistles (PDBL too) except the adjustable pedals, heated windshield and the Sirius/audiophile system. I plan on putting my AVIC Z1 in it. Anyways my question was about the radio. On the computer at the dealer, as well as the Ford website it shows the ragular basic radio as having a LCD screen, and the audiophile one looks plain like a stock on in the current years ST (green flourescent display) Which it is? It didn't really matter to me, but it seems like the mack daddy one would have the LCD screen...not the basic one... Another funny thing on the Ford Site--if you build/price the ST and look at the details of the 4.6 motor, it calls it a V9.....

yayayayayya.... you have to post pics when you get it... for once not a dark cherry ST. Make sue you get pics of the inside and outside... just cause im too lazy right now to see the two tone charcoal in person at the dealership... hahahha

I haven't seen it yet either except in the photos on the Ford site. I have the Tan interior now, and didn't really like it when I bought my '01, but it was such a good deal on a dealer demo we couldn't pass it up....

The screen on the Audiophile head unit is a LED screen with orange letters. It displays the clock and either radio tuning or which CD and track is playing.

It also display the tuning settings for the sound system when you press the options button.,

Hi, I just got my 07 ST Limited Dark Cherry a few days ago, I did the extra $515.00 thing to get the upgraded 6 disk CD, and yes it is (green flourescent) I also saw the standard stereo, and it is touch screen. Made me feel like I was takeing a down grade, but the sound is much much better on the upgrade (flourescent) ..also have the amp and woofer.

Thanks for the info!!! It does seem like a downgrade to me, but I guess th esound makes it worth the extra money if you aren't planning on doing your own upgrades!
