I have some paint splatter on my right rear quarter panel. I think I may have picked it up from reshly painted road stripes or spilled paint on the interstate. No matter, I have very small white paint spots on the right side of by bed. Small enough that it is not really noticable until I wash the trac but its enough that it bothers me. I can picj it off with my finger nails but there are hundreds of spots. My question, is there a wax/ compound that any of you use to remove somethign like this? Any suggestions other than sitting on the ground with a cold beer picking paint flakes off the trac bed? ;) On second thought, that doesn't sound like a bad afternoon does it?:p

Try some 3m adhesive and tar remover. Or, you can drive down here to Auburn, bring some beer with you, and I'll help. :D

I don't know if it will work as well for small paint splatter, but I've used oven cleaner when someone threw paint on my old car. Surprisingly enough, it didn't harm the finish, but I waxed it right after anyway.

I dont think I could ever work up the courage to try that one!

Turtle wax bird $h!t and tar remover. dab it on thick on each spot, let sit for 20 seconds, then work your finger to the bone rubbing them.

then wax.
