Painting Grill?

Has anyone painted there grille. How does it look?

Some went black, some silver some Red... Most replaced with a billet grill...

No, it's not black...depending on the year, it's sometimes a kinda greyish color, other times kinda greenish, or bluish, but not black, black.

Yeah my stock one is a greyish color.

Back when I painted my grille silver. Now I have no grille and I like the look much better.

Eddie and Paul, you both have bright colored Tracs and that makes any contrasting dark color appear darker then it really is....try holding something that you know is black, like the owners manual or similar next to the grille, big difference in the colors. If it matters, Ford calls the color of the grille, for all years, "platinum". Go figure.

My 03 grill is black , BUT not as black as my cladding... I may paint it to match..It kinda has that grey black color...
