I thought it would interesting to see what items we have replaced on our STs and what mileage they needed to be replaced at. Not talking about general fluid flushing and changing.
My ST currently has just less than 92,000 miles. I take good care of my ST but I still feel I've been pretty lucky.
1) Replaced front pads at approx. 20,000 miles (one caliper was sticking and caused premature wear on one side), 53,000 miles and 85,000 miles.
2) Replaced rear pads at approx. 45,000 miles
3) Replaced front rotors at 20,000 miles due to sticking caliper causing galling of rotor.
4) Replaced rear rotors at approx. 60,000 miles.
5) Repaced stock shocks at 50,000. Still had life but I wanted stiffer shocks. I installed KYB MonoMax shocks.
6) Replaced stock tires at 60,000 miles.
7) Replaced battery at 90,000 miles.
8) Replaced Fuel Filter at 70,000 miles.
9) Replaced PVC Valve and elbow at 80,000 miles.
10) Replaced Serpentine Belt at 91,500 miles...actually still looked really good...probably still has about 30,000-40,000 miles left in it.
I bought a Serpentine Belt Tensioner but the stock one was still in great shape. It had no play and made no noise so I left it in. Looks like it has another 50,000 miles in it.
I also bought new OEM Spark Plugs. I will be installing them in a few weeks with new wires.
Are others getting similar numbers?
Jeff
