So, my Trac has been at dealer since last Monday... got it back.

They couldn't "duplicate" the stalling. Fine. I have a "computer" plugged into my trac that will record a problem once I push the button on it.

NOW.. my Adren radio has ZERO sound. None. I have no sound to speakers.

ALSO, me driver door will not lock or unluck using button or touch pad.. I have to use a key.

I am very unhappy right now. I do like the Toyota Taco... but can't afford it...

...New cars suck

Sorry to hear! Hope they can get things figured out for ya. I know what it's like to have a vehicle that has problems that could leave you stranded or aggrivated. Good luck and hope all goes well.;)

I can't believe the dealer had your Trac for a week and no problem was found. Sorry about your Adrenalin woes man, especially after your Titan experience. I hope things get ironed out. A Tacoma and Frontier would start sounding good to me too if I were in the same situation, but those two are still only in their first year out and may have "bugs"; either this point may seem moot considering what's happening on your 04 ST or Ford has left a really bad taste in your mouth. I doubt you'd like another Titan, and Ford is probably not on your A-list anymore, so a F150 is out of the question (07 ST too). What about a Tundra? Besides having a hideous interior and oversized bed, IMO, it is okay and in its prime. But really, I just hope you get your ST fixed.

I think you just have no luck with any car/truck...

Thanks for the replies.

I leave for college Friday (yes, I have to pack my Trac, but it's at the dealer  ).

I still LOVE driving the Trac, but the major problem with the engine worries me; they can't seem to find the problem and it's dangerous!!

Anyway, I can not afford another new vehicle, so unfortunately I am stuck with the Trac. Maybe it will get fixed right. The service advisor said that the deck (radio) may have to be replaced and I will have to come back in when it comes in (the part). I will have to travel back from Orlando (2.5 hours) so I can get this done. But, I have to come home anyway.

Is there any bright side to all this? Nope. My cell phone is also in the shop because of water damage (my fault)...

if it isn't one thing, it's another.:(

Josh, when you move over my way, take your Trac to Greenway. Honestly, it's only about 9 or 10 miles down Colonial Dr. from where you'll be.They did me well recently and fixed EVERYTHING with no questions asked. If you take it there, I'll even pick you up when you drop it off if you'd like. Let me know.

Thanks Jenn!

Yeah, I just may have to take you up on that ;)

But seriously, I hope they fix everything right. I am getting tired of visiting the dealer every other week.

Thanks Jenn.

P.S. Maybe we can get lunch or something one day in October?

Sounds good. Maybe one weekend Scott and I can show you around the area or even take you fishing out on the Econ. Sounds like we might be picking you up!

We need to get your trac fixed so we can go show off!

Hey! I saw someone on here had a picture of their Trac, a black one I think, in deeper water than that. Did it drown? :p Keep on Trac'n!

That's right Nelson... Josh drowned his Titan in a river, then blamed Nissan when the engine had to be yanked.

hmmm what have you done to the ST?

From what I read, the engine blew long after it was run through the water. I blame it on Nissan.

Ha Ha!!!

Caymen is right... my engine pooped almost three weeks after water was in the engine bay. The Nissan guys didn't find any water damage, but found that the cat. converter had busted and cause back-flow into th engine.

Thank you, Darin. It wasn't a river either. Nor did I blame Nissan for me driving into the water. I blame Nissan for a car that was made to look like a truck. Then again, if Darin can easily point fingers, wouldn't of Nissan?

Hmm???
