question about removing roof rails

for those of you who have removed the roof rails what do you use to fill up the holes that are left when they are gone.

nothing yet....gonna prolly fill with bondo and paint over them....u really dont notice unless u look at it close

Harley Davidson Chrome allen hole covers. I forget which size, but they will have a bunch there and I'm sure you can test fit.

What I did is to use silicone rtv sealant in the holes. Then pit the factory screws back in. Wiped off the excess sealant and painted with touch-up paint.

Your trac being dark colored should not show as much as my silver.

Like "fast eddie", I just put silicone on the threads and put the screws back in. This way it looks more "truck-like" to me and I can put the rails back if there's ever a need. The screws are not noticeable after a while.........
