QUICK EXCEL FORMULA HELP

Need help with an excel formula. its VLOOKUP (i am so so at doing these) when i put the formula in and am done with it,the cell shows the formula, not the result.



any help?

Delete the formula, then format the column or cell with a number format then put the vlookup formula back in the cell\column. The cell\column is probably formatted as "general" currently
