alright have a question. bought a sct 3015 said it worked on fords with free tunes for life plugged into truck and said ecu unsupported. they said the would write tunes for my truck 07 4.6, waited they said they couldn't get the tunes to take for some reason. the sct wont marry the truck i guess you call it. so then paid the the tunes off here thru perfrome part wrote me 3 tunes plugged in programmer put in tune got check engine and a wrench on dash 93 performace, 87 performance didn't run right truck barely ran, 87 eco truck would die, and sct still says ecu unsupported any clues.

when we loaded the program for the blower it took about 6 attempts it finally took. Did you save the original factory program first... It wouldn't do any uploads until it finally saved the OEM program for returning it to those stats. I guess if I took the blower off, I might need that - lol... One time during the load it exceeded 118% then it was done.

I also have a question - I want to change my idle speed with my SCT3 tuner. It offers 710 neutral idle speed but when I choose to do so, I get n error on the upload. Does this change with the hand held or does the program need tweaked and then reloaded?

Who is the person you purchased from..... I got my calibration from my Vin number and all is well...

IF the dealer changed things it will be different too....

ok got a program to work with out a check engine but still can't do a strag tune still gettin a ecu unsupported error. almost there, does anyone know, if the sct isn't for your vehicle will i give you that problem and then is there anyway to put your vehicle on there.

Did you buy a tuner that said it was good for Ford Explorer's? or did you buy one after they asked you for your Calibration Code(ie. JXV3)?

Unless you specifically said "My calibration code is XXXX" then you bought something that will never work properly.
