I just installed a magna flow cat back exhaust on my trac and now it feels as if the tranny is slipping between 2nd and 3rd at low rpm's. It shifts just fine when I floor it. I'm thinking that the computer needs to be reprogrammed to match the new rpm / shift points. Am I on the right trac?

Tom the slip may have been there all the time and you can just here it now with the new exhaust...

OR, The extra air flow is throwing the computer off a little..

Try resetting the computer and give it a couple of days..

I put magna-flow cat back on my '04. No change in shifting. You possibly had some going wrong in the trans already. Coincidentle, maybe..
