Nothing for sale here but just some info on shipping alternatives.

Greyhound....yes...the bus. Greyhound offers a freight shipping service at their terminals and they ship them on the bus. http://www.shipgreyhound.com/

I've sent a Bed Extender from Cincinnnati to Raliegh and it cost something like $30. About $70 cheaper than UPS ground. It wasn't the weight but the bulk.

I also had a Safari BAr sent to me from SC to Florida and it was about $30 as well.

I think in both cases it took a little less than a week in transit. Just a suggestion to help buyers and sellers keep shipping costs down.

Glen thanks for the info. If you have a small heavy item you can send if flat rate ( if it fits in the box) anywhere in the U.S. for ~$8.75 ( I forget the actual amount). Also book or media rate for appropriate items is cheap via USPS media rate.
