Wow, a guy asks a legit question that isn't answered within 1 hour (during EST drive-time, btw) and he is accused of being ignored and raving like a lunatic. And I get accused of starting things?

For those that missed the question over the static, here it is again:

Q: Does anyone have experience with trying to collect on damage done in an accident without an accident report and when the other party tried to deny things?

I'm just trying to guage if an accident report is essential.

Thanks,

TJR

You are a better person than I am SeattleSportTrac. I would have been pretty miffed if it was the ST. You did handle the situation well.

True, Teasip, that is one definition of Grace. So is the following from Webster's Dict:Quote:

disposition to or an act or instance of kindness, courtesy, or clemency And, clemency means per Webster's: Quote:disposition to be merciful and especially to moderate the severity of punishment due

So, I guess we are both right. Grace is a very misunderstood word with many meanings that are subtly different.

"GRACE? She died years ago..." (thanks to Christmas Vacation)

I asked the question because I had a 2000 Impala that I was rear-ended in 3 times...seemingly no damage each time, and each time just jotted down some info and went our seperate ways. I always had a "sinking feeling" afterwards for weeks, waiting for something to fall off my car.
