I have really enjoyed reading the messages on this site since I bought my 05' ST a year ago. Unfortunately, that came to an end last week. We were in North Georgia on our way home from a vaction traveling at 45mph when a guy ran a stop sign and t-boned us in the drivers side. We did a spin and then rolled 2-3/4 times before a speed limit sign stopped us. I found out from the locals that someone died in the same spot last month from a similar wreck. I just wanted to let everyone know that the ST protected us very well since all 3 of us walked away with only some cuts and bruises and soreness. Unfortunately the 5 month old family pet flew out of the window during the rollover, but we found him 16hrs later and he is doing just fine. Be careful out there and watch out for others! I am including a link to the pictues if anyone wants to see.....

Wow! Really glad you and your family (and Baxter) weren't badly hurt. Looks like the ST held up pretty well for a T-bone and roll-over.

Thanks and yes we are very fortunate. I am debating on whether to get an 06' F-150 or wait for the 07' ST to come out. Not too many 05's left on the lots and I figured that this is a sign get a truck that's a little less top heavy.....I like the thought of the 07 ST with the V-8, but don't know if I can wait that long!

Whoa! That was a nasty t-bone! Glad you and yours are OK! I was curious how my 'o5 ST would be in a T bone situation-you pics show me that it did better than I would have imagined. As far as getting rolled because of its height -don't you think being high up when getting smashed helped your surival-even tho you did roll over? Just wondering..

Glad you and your family are ok...

What was the other guy driving?? Looks like he T-boned you high on the hip line...

Really glad to hear you and the family are ok. I am glad the ST is so safe. It looks like it could have been alot worse. Glad to hear nobody was hurt.

Yes, I think that the height of the ST helped me since his bumper was so high. I felt my door cave in on the initial impact and know it could have been a lot worse if I were in a lower profile vehicle. He was driving a Nissan Armada. We all know though that the Sport Tracs have always gotten bad reviews in rollover tests because the stance is a little too narrow for the height. Hopefully that has been fixed with the 07's.

Wes, I am glad you and the family are ok...

I do think that ANY vehicle hit like has the tendency to roll over... I saw an explorer t Bone a Nissan sentra and flip the sentra over.

WesFl, glad you three and family pet is ok

only thing anyone can say about your ST ~As Bart A put it *Built Ford TOUGH!*

again glad you all are ok.

If I'm not mistaken, an Armada is the biggest vehicle Nissan makes. I am glad you were not injured seriously. It shows how strong our trucks are to protect against a larger vehicle like that.

I am very glad to hear you walked away. I am glad to hear the whole family, including the dog is alive and well.

If you can get anything out of it, could you PLEASE get me the rods for the jack. You know behind the seat, you have the jack, tire iron, and two rods you use to remove the spare.

I need those two rods. I lost them and I can not find them.

I'm glad you did well on the accident. the nissan armada is built on the titan platform, so it was larger than you were. your 'trac held up well considering what happened.

Keep on Trac'in;););)

Have a good one

Bob

P.S if you decide to part it out, let me know about the seats.
