Hi, I have a ST 2004 and a sqeaking sound in the suspension. I lubricated the sway bar bushings but still have the squeaking problem.

Since I have to order the bushings to solve the problem I like some information about where and what bushings to order.

I appreciate your help. Thank you.

When you lube them does the noise go away and come back ??

Front or rear? 2WD or 4WD?

I get a real bad squeak in my Trac aswell. I think it's the rear shocks I installed 1.5 years ago, Monroe Reflex. The shock performs well but squeaks like a pay per hour hotel bed!

Thank you for your reactions. I have a 2WD ST and the squeaking is in the fornt. Didn't go away when I lubricated the sway bar bushings. I'm planning to order the Mook K80081 bushings and contrl arm bushings (energysuspension.com). I want some info about the ball joints. Thank you for your help.

Highly recommend you lift the front tires off the ground by the lower control arms and do a complete inspection.

Guessing by replacing parts is frustrating and expensive. As mentioned, ball joints are a very likely suspect. GL

I had a terrible squeak coming from my leaf springs. Specifically the rear mount on both sides. I pulled the pins and lubed with lithium grease or some such stuff. No more squeaks for the past year. Very satisfied as that squeak was dang annoying and embarrassing.
