Summer 2011 get together? DEAD Issue!

I'm gonna post this every couple of weeks. Would like to get together here on the East coast for a day or 2 at the beach. I'm looking for help with suggestions, don't just state here or there, get a little info on the location first(location,hotels,food,cookout friendly, things to do, attractions,etc) and post it or email me. Lets start with an area from the Hamptons to the outer banks. Lets look at July, August or September(I like Sept., the kids are back in school) Okay, I raised the flag, who's gonna salute it? We can do the park like we have before Or if a smaller crowd we could meet at my house, OR heck if we get 8 or more we can do a dyno day here.... Just need gen 1's... LOL

Joe, If I wanted to stay close to home, Seaside Heights or Wildwood. Nice boardwalks, plenty of rides and attractions for the family, all kinds of food vendors, plenty of places to stay. Allthough, Ocean City, Maryland keeps popping into my head. Those would be my choices. But I mean, like, Virginia Beach is good and there are plenty of places in the Outer Banks. Even Myrtle Beach. I'm just looking for a spot that would bring in the most owners(even more than Louisville). There's golf courses, minor league baseball and shopping in most of those locations. Help me out here gang, this is something that needs to be worked on early in order to get rooms and make any other reservations if needed. Bob

How about Carlisle All Truck Nationals. Show all the other truck people how much we are united behind the Sport Trac name. I see Lightning Clubs and all kinds of truck clubs there every year but I've only seen one other ST there and that one was completely stock. I don't think I'd be able to get out on the Island just due to the fact of all the outrageous tolls they charge just to get on the island not to mention the Pa. and N.J. tolls.

Ok, thats an idea. See, this is what I'm talkin' about. Wherever we can get the most people together is the basic idea. I thought a weekend at the beach would be good. Beach, a cool drink, golf, a cool drink, dinner, a cool drink. That kind of thing. Maybe rent a house? Bob

Daytona Beach, you can drive miles & miles on the beach still.



I'd even recommend staying @ the Bahama House hotel oceanfront [95 units, 10 stories]www.DaytonaBahamaHouse.com w/free cont. breakfast, free cocktail hour, free underground [garage] parking, easy access to beach, outdoor pool & hot tub, 2 tier sun deck...lots of good seafood places on the water for dinner or lunch, you might could even talk Daytona International Speedway into letting us drive around the track in our ST.

I def think somewhere near Seaside Heights/Point Pleasant/Wildwood is a good place. I am a Senior in college and I would love to come out and check out everyone's Sport Trac and get some ideas for mine!
