I'm about 3 grand short of being the 6 million dollar man.

Dude, we're the same age. I thought it was bad enough to have had a scoped knee and testicular cancer... but damn dude....

God Bless. I'll be thinking of ya!

Good luck on the tests, bud. Let us know how they come out.

At least these are the kinds of tests you don't have to study for. :D

Yep TT

When young joint replacement works well, as you age they get arthritic and hurt more than before.

Tore my rotator cuff about 3 yrs ago (fell off my roof:(

Played scratch Golf every day on meds (no handicap, always shot par at any course I played)

had the cuff repaired, is worse than before, no more golf, no more self sex, is a bxxtch.:(

My prayer for you. A quick recovery and complete healing.

All this at age 31. I feel blessed that around 50 when my nerve damage and poor circulation caught up with me.

I crashed my Harley when I was 31. Still have the screws in my ankle.

After 2 knee scopes, 1 full knee, a stroke and heart surgery, and the problems with my back; I can relate to the pain (and I turn 34 tomorrow). Hope all goes well Andy... Just stay out of Henry General... :D

Good luck to ya Dingo. The injection isn't great fun, but tollerable. (I'm an X-ray Tech) Hope it gets you feeling better.

Lasik, man I wish the nurses around here looked like that. Unfortunately most here became nurses to get off welfare. In other words, they have been around and played hard.:D;)

My brother in law had hip replacement surgery this past summer.

He says it is the single best thing he has ever done in regards to his health and how he feels.

Sending a prayer for a complete recovery. :)

I was curious as to what it was. Found this on the Mayo Clinic site:

Acetabular labral tear:

Definition

The socket of your hip joint (acetabulum) is lined by cartilage called your labrum. This cartilage provides stability and cushioning for your hip joint, allowing the ball of your thighbone (femur) to move smoothly and painlessly in the socket.

A tear in your labrum, known as a hip labral tear or acetabular labral tear, can result from injury, repetitive movements that cause wear-and-tear on your hip joint, or degeneration, such as from osteoarthritis.

In many cases, a hip labral tear causes no signs or symptoms and doesn't require treatment. Occasionally, however, a hip labral tear may cause pain or a "catching" sensation in the hip joint.

When treatment for a hip labral tear is necessary, it may consist of physical therapy, medications or a combination. Less frequently, surgery is necessary to treat a hip labral tear.

Hey Dingo, wish you the best of luck. Hope you have a nurse that looks like the one above, at least that will help time pass faster......LOL.......
