System question

Ok for christmas my folks and girlfriend are going to help me with putting a nice system in my trac. Im going to run a component set in each door w/ an amp to power them and now im looking into which sub to get. I was hoping that some of yall out there with a setup could give me an idea of how much space i have to work with in the trac for a box and perhaps what kind of setup your running. Im looking more for good sound quality than earthshattering bass. Any input would really help b/c christmas is right around the corner. Thanks alot

Where do you want to put the sub?



Under the seat gives you more room (I think people have fit 2 12's), but you can't fold down the seats anymore.



I went with dual 8's behind the seats. If you look a few posts down you can see pictures.

Ill prolly do a single 12 under the seat b/c i have my brain for the gps as well as a ps2 under neath there already...then i can place both amps behind the seats. Any ideas as to what size box may fit under there? Just thought i would ask rather than walk out in the cold and take measurements. Once again thanks for any help.

It is going to be hard to fit a 12 under the seat or behind it for that matter. There isnt a lot of room to work with. Pro Box makes a single 10 box and so does a member here Cwells. I have a custom made box with 2 10s that fit behind the rear seats and was made by another member here.
