T-Case Lube Again

Today I changed the transfer case lube again. This is the first truck I've had long enough to do it twice.

Mobil 1 ATF after only 25,000 miles. Black with a hint of pink.

That looks nasty! Did it in my trac at 66K mils and looked much worse. I need to do it in a 99 F150 which has never been done with 77K miles. Actually is it ok to use synthetic Mobil ATF in a 1999 F150 or is it to old?

If your t-case calls for ATF then Mobil 1 ATF will be fine. 77k isn't a lot of miles for a '99.

I use M1 ATF for whatever infinitesimal increase in mpg it might give me. Otherwise any Mercon ATF is okay to use in it.

I already changed it once at 25k and now again at 50k.
