OK ..This meet...I am trying to get more specific information since what is posted is not entriley clear to me. But thats ok I get confused easily .

IS there a competition on Friday 9-30 at the Texas State Fair? If not then why are paying $25 to get in the Fair? If the competiton is only on Saturday at the Fort Worth Stockyards then registration should be done there that morning.

Can any one help with some additonal information besides what is posted. Like a phone # for the event chairman or something of that nature.

Thanks

Scott :(

The email I received from FORD states this...

UNLESS THERE IS A COMPETITION ON FRIDAY ..>RIGHT?

OK THEN THE REGISTRATION SHOULD ONLY BE CHARGED IF YOU ARE COMPETING ON SATURDAY ...RIGHT ?

Will the winners of the competition at the Dallas event be posted on the site? I'd like to see that. Congratulations to all of the competition entrants, and especially to the winners! I wasn't personally able to attend, but have spoken to others who were there, and understand there were some outstanding Trac's there. I hope to be able to attend the next show.;)

The 25 bucks a trac was a registration fee for the meet. The fees go towards the cost of the meet itself. This years fees did not I am sure, cover all of Rich'es expenses. A Fee is standard for every National meet and from what I know was less than previous years. 25.00 a trac not a person which I felt was very reasonable. If you brought 5 with you all you paid was the 25.00. If you wanted to be in on the Trac contest (which is fun for all) you paid an extra 5 bucks. Ford sponsered our meet by way of advertisement, an exclusive first hand private veiwing of the 07 ST. and gave each member and participants free enterance to the Fair, and Ride/food coupons, not to mention a very nice dinner and the many prizes given.

When we put together a registration packet for a member and their guests we assume you will also attend the National Meet as this is WHY Ford hosts our Natonal meet in the first place. It's because of our instrest in the Sport Trac Ford goes all out for us. We'd love to say EVERYTHING is free however it's not, And the fees only goes towards the cost of expenses for the meet. In no way is there profit made. In the future IF we do this National meet, it will be a committee. And yes each year there will be a registration fee to attend.

The fee ensures a few things one being cost that goes into setting things up such as food/drink for the meet itself. Also, if one pays their registraton fees we get a good accurate head count of folks that will attend so that their packet is ready and waiting for them and all that goes with that. This year was an exception, fees were paid as folks picked up their registration packets.

There were many pics taken at all the events. A Ford Photographer was on hand and clicking away at all the events including the National Meet. I personally did not get too many pics myself as I was having so much fun! Bryan Olson will post the link when the photos are ready. And yes pics were taken of the Trac Contest winners and their prizes. :) Hope this helps.
