I'm over 35,000 miles on my original set of tires and have been looking for a new set of four tires. The originals are Michelin 235/65R/18 cross terrain m/s. I like the ride, grip, quietness and handleing of these tires but would appreciate any advise on what I should replace these tires with. I've been looking on craigslist for a set of four tires mounted on some cool chrome rims at a good price but nothing has caught my eye yet and I don't want to go too long before these tires become unsafe.

Two of the local Ford dealerships are advertising "The low price guarantee" on 11 major tire brands. What does anybody recommend?

Thanks

Benny

Cooper Discovery HT Plus 265/60-18. They are only .4" taller than your oem. With a 9" tread width. They look beefed under the fenders.

I have them on my gen1 with 18" wheels. They are smooth and highway quiet. Good wet dry traction, for me. Average $150 per tire.

Benny, are you using them primarily for street or any off road use?

Loved Eddie's Enkei RT6 rims since he showed them on the Trac, wish they offered 16".

Thanks EddieS'04 and the coopers on those rims look great on your ST.

swhawaii I use my ST primarily on the street with lots of highway miles recently. Daughter just had second baby and needs lots of help. 300 miles round trip. Thanks Benny
