(Don't know if the rest of the country's having the same problem, up in MN we've had a couple days of snow recently after it was in the 70s two weeks ago).

I hear ya...

I fly 5 days a week in most cases. I have recently made MULTIPLE trips to Paris and Amsterdam. It is normally close to but always cooler there than here.

This is not the case right now though. I was in Paris yesterday and it was 80 degrees. I was in Amsterdam 6 days ago and it was 78 degrees.

I CANNOT wait for summer to get here...

I bought these new toys at the end of the season and would like to get them on the water so I can play with them...

Yeah, I'm coaching my daughter's 8U softball team, and we've been forced to have our first two practices indoors just so people didn't need to wear snowmobile suits in the field. Hopefully things turn around in the next 9 days--our season opener is supposed to be May 1...

It's been high 80s, low 90s here. God wouldn't let His favorite people have a cold Easter!:cheeky:

Hugh, you can keep the 80-90 degree weather down there for now.

It would be nice to actually get a Spring though, the past couple yeatrs here in Pittsburgh it goes from Winter into Summer and back and then back to Summer, no gradual warm up here.

It was in the high 70's last week and back in the 30's 40's now.

Mother Nature needs to fix her Menpause. :bwahaha:

We're still in the low humidity 80s and 90s so its quite nice. June through August will get us, though. We had the 70 degree weather in late January to late March.

Dear Hugh,

Go to hell.

Gee, I feel better.

Gerry Mac :bwahaha:

Hell comes to south GA every July and August.

There's a song, Watermelon Crawl, that has a line about the GA summer:

I was down in Georgia about late July/

On a day hot enough to make the devil sigh

We are already getting 80's and bad humidity. No rain in sight:angry:. Been wanting to fertlize. If I do I will have set up the sprinkler.

Thats why my wife and I don't go to the house in Hilton Head until after September. 5am and its already 93 degrees. I love the Jersey shore!!! Bob

I got ya Gerry. I was just trying to make you feel better by knowing that I'll be walking slower in July.

Gotta love Pittsburgh weather, we don't get Spring anymore. It's Winter into Summer around here, 30-40's last week this week 80's. Oh well, I'd rather deal with the heat then the extreme cold with my arthritis.

That really depends on where you're at. Spring is high 70s to mid 80s and summer is 90s and triple digits. We had a spring...back in February.

Today was supposed to be the opening game for our youth softball league. Most teams canceled their games--with temps in the 40s, the hands of 8 year olds were simply stining too much when the ball hit the bat.

Oh well--at least we're not having the situation my in-laws are. Yesterday in Williston, ND, they got about 16 inches of heavy wet snow, which toppled all sorts of major power lines in the area. They're predicting it may be two weeks before most of the town gets power back.
