Oh how I wish I could own #1, 2 or 7. Although my dream mustang would be the Boss 429 personally.

Pshh, no 1969 Mercury Cougar 428 Cobra Jet?

Shelby Cobra is my first choice on that list and a 1965 GTO comes in second.

Of the listed cars, I've owned one, '68 Firebird, and my dad's brother owned one, '70 Boss 302. :haveabeer:

My personal top five would be:

'67 Corvette roadster, 427/400, 4 speed

'70 Boss 302 Mustang

'68 Shelby GT 500 ragtop

'73 Trans-Am SD-455

'66 GTO

Ah, my favorite...The 1965 GTO !!

I bought a brand new one in July of 1965 when I got back from 18 months on Okinawa

Kicking my self now because I didn't keep it. :banghead:

A black convertible '65 GTO is definitely one of my hopeful-future-projects.

After the Cougar is finished (if there is such a thing), I have my fiance convinced that a "cute little classic convertible" would suit her great. It just so happens that I pitched a Factory Five kit Cobra to be that "cute" car. She's on board with that plan!

She is more of a Chevy person, so if I have to compromise, we'll figure out a way to get an early Corvette. She'll see my way, though, when we start talking money.

Those very rare Mustangs are the only ones I would consider owning. I hate going to car shows and seeing 20 classic Mustangs, 20 '69 Camaros, 55 '55 Chevys and a section of Stingray Corvettes. Sure, they're all cool cars, but they're a dime a dozen.

After fooling around for two years with the Jeep I got my daughter, I'm kicking around the idea of scratch-building a CJ-5 with a fiberglass body.

I'd love to have a Jeep. It's what I initially wanted but I also needed a bed, even a small one. So, the ST it is. Just got some work to do.

My soon-to-be brother-in-law has an '07 JK Unlimited that he has done lots of work to. I'd like to have a Jeep, but I hate being second best at anything, so I'll let him have the Jeep and I build the ST.

My personal favorites are the '68/'69 Mustang GT/CS, and the '66 Shelby Cobra 427.

A friend of mine who was an only child, whose dad was very well off, had a Couger Elininator w/ Hurst shifter. That was one sweet ride. You don't see many on those any more.

I find it odd that some of the hottest cars of the Muscle Car era did not make the list??

No 427 powered Corvettes?

No Chevy Nova's with the 396 engines?

No 442 Olds' ?

No 426 Hemi powered Dodge/Plymouth Road Runners, Satilites, or Belvederes?
