Got my transmission serviced at the dealer yesterday. They flushed it using a Wynn's "powerflush", used 16 quarts of Mercon V. Installed a new filter, and pan gasket. Charged me $149.

Service writer said my transfer case didn't need changing. He said they never cause any trouble. Just check it once a year and keep it full.

Got a new circuit board/switch on order to fix my burned out cruise control buttons light. Under warranty.

As I recall, the manual says to change the t-case lube at 60k. I did mine sooner in both the Trac and the Ranger I had, driveline was noticeably smoother afterward. Takes regular Mercon ATF.
