water spots

I got water spots really bad . Yesterday , I used rubbing compound on my windows and they cleaned up like new . Anybody know of a easier way to get rid of water spots ? I don't really want to compound my paint .

water spots on the windows......news paper , yes ,wet news paper......or windex?

A clean, lint free rag with windex works for me.

I used the newspaper until I got a bad ink day

If the spots aren't etched into the clear coat, then any cleaner wax should remove water spots from your paint. When I get them on my mirrors though, I use the Mother's wheel polish and they clean up perfect. -Heather

I use Rain-X on all of my windows and it seems to prevent the waterspots from forming.

Rubbing compound on the glass??? Use Bon-Ami cleanser, it won't scratch the glass.

The rubbing compound didn't scratch my glass ! It cleaned them up just fine .
