Some will say that "time" helps, but I lost both my mom and dad in '99, and my dad's death is still hard on me. He died suddenly in a car wreck, while my mom of cancer with everyone by her side. Her death was "easier" to deal with than his.
Take comfort in knowing that you have a family bond that time and death can't break. If your brother had children, look at them as a part of him, and use this time to get closer to them....it will help you both. Tell them stories about your brother as a child. These things help.
