What is everyone doing today?

I have been working on one of my guest bedrooms. Scraped the nasty popcorn ceiling, ripped off some nasty old school wood paneling on one wall. Filled in all the dry wall. Now I am waiting for the dry wall mudd to dry so I can sand and start painting. Gunna paint the wall Tiffany & Co. blue and bright while ceiling with white crown at the top. What are you doing?

Recovering from my roommate's b'day party. Maybe going to the hospital to get my knee looked at. Probably cleaning A LOT. I know what I'm not doing, I'm never drinking tequila again...

House cleaning, laundry, washing the truck, perhaps some yard work, and then some studying for my promotion test. Also, coloring my daughter's hair. Days are busy for single dads...



edit -- lol JeffC. Yes, tequila can bite back. I love margaritas. I can't drink vodka anymore, because in college I once split a bottle with one of my fellow Russian students.

Have had my water off since Friday afternoon. Removed plumbing yesterday. Today I'm putting it back including new main shut-off valve, water heater and outdoor faucets.



Hopefully, I'm ready to call the water department in the morning, check things are leak-free and then take me a shower.

Maybe you took this into consideration, but older popcorn ceilings can contain asbestos.
