There is nothing like 3 hurricanes in 13 months going through my neighborhood.

Well, this morning Wilma stormed ashore as a cat 3 hurricane and crossed South FL (went right through WPB county). We were in the the northern eye wall throughout the storm. Winds were near 100MPH with a ew gust of stronger winds.

We survived and so did everything we owned. It was bad, but we had only tree and fence damage.

Again, we lucked out.

I will post some pics later... I'm going to start keeping track of the storms...

1. Frances: Cat 3

2. Jeanne: Cat 4

3. Wilma: Cat 2

My neighborhood has been pounded in the past year... hope this is it for at least two weeks ;)

:D

Josh, glad you guys faired well. We sort of did as well. We lost some major branches on our cypress trees and one with about a 6" diameter base came about 3 feet from piercing the roof of our new home. Instead, it put about a 2 foot deep hole in the ground.

Hey, I'm all for clean-up! More firewood for camping!!

:)

Gotta love hurricane season in FL!

I live in North Brevard county and we had winds of around 60 mph. Thats high enough for me. Wilma was an "rain event" hurricane for us. I belive it was listed as a Cat 3 hurricane.
