WOW, what a diference with New Shocks!!!

I was a little skeptical at first whether to believe that putting new shocks on my 49K Trac would make as big of a difference as everyone on here says it did, but its no lie!!!! I got some new Monroe Sensatracs from Advance for 38.88 ea with a buy 3 get one free deal and after the simple install, it drives so much smoother and hardly even feel the bumps in the road now. Must do for anyone with stock shocks!!!! Spend the $120 and I guarantee you will be glad you did.

Makes you wonder doesn't it? For the 1-1/2 years I've been a member here it seems that no matter how much we talk about the benefits of good shocks, some just won't listen. I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I got back from a 600 mile interstate trip, I knew that I needed some good shocks. I honestly believe that most drivers have no idea just how much difference shocks make in handling and safety.

Right now monroe is offering buy three get fourth one free. Do it no matter what your milage, you wont be disapointed. Changed mine at 1500 miles on my '04 trac.

FYI, In Dallas Ford reps said that the '07 ST will have monotube shocks & stiffer frame which tells me that they do read this site.

I too have the original shocks with 69,000 miles on a 2001.

It doesn't seem to have the bounce that everyone talks about.

The tires break away from the pavement quite easily though.

I plan on changing out the shocks over the next week, mostly because I am getting ready to change out my tires for the first time.

If it is as noticable as everyone says, I guess I deserve a butt kicking from the old ball and chain for waiting this long.

I bought my Trac with 46K so it took me 3K to change them. I no longer feel like a bobble head doll when I hit a bump.



GO COCKS!! Bye the way everyone I know that went to the Auburn game said the fans were great and some of the best in the SEC. Maybe we can give you a better game next year at Williams Brice!! But Auburn and Bama will be in the top 10 come seasons end, both are very good teams.
