I had to get mine replaced on my 07 V6 Trac about 8 months ago. Would not come out of park - had to press the brake and the shift release button several times before it would shift out of park.

My point on the matter is that they should not have the plastic extend past the end of the seat (it wraps around towards the front) making it easy to snag on your leg getting out. They should also reinforce it better, and not have it held on by 3 plastic tabs. That's why I think it should be...

My 07 Sport Trac is only 2 years old with 27K miles. My issue is the trim on the drivers side seat that holds all the power switches (angle, position and lumbar). I snagged the corner getting out, and the plastic tabs broke on the trim and now it is dangling (only held on by the seat belt)...

haha - I'll let the dealer take care of it - I need to take the Trac in next week anyway to get the gear selector replaced. It's not wanting to release when I step on the brake to come out of park.

my 07 started making a "tinkling" sound when the blower is on high - coming from the passenger side. If I turn the blower down to low, it doens't make it - only on high - any ideas?

After My Check Engine light came on, I used a code reader and got this: P1401 - Differential presure feedback EGR circuit high input I did the battery disconnect and the light stayed off for about a mile before coming back. What should I check? 01 with 79,000 miles . . .
