That seems like it might be hard on the hood. :( My trip home from buying the canoe was short, so it didn't wreck the plastichrome, but I need to bring the canoe up north and that's a long trip on the highway. I can't believe there's no good tie downs on the front of the truck.
I had...
Hello,
I picked up a new roof ornament for my truck today and ran into a little issue. There's no good spot on the front of the truck to tie anything to. My '04 had the tow hooks, but this has nothing. I ended up tying it to the block heater plug in, but that's not a good solution when...
Yeah, the IVA-D310 is one of the old model units. My old unit you could adjust those as well. The new units don't allow you to adjust them without buying a separate eq unit (bastards!). I loved that and a few other things about my old Alpine deck, however, I needed the new iPod interface as...
Okay, I posted some pics of the new Alpine deck, camera, and BlackBerry car kit to my site.
Hopefully, I will get the Nav system hooked into it soon, but since we just bought a cottage, I will likely need to wait a bit. :(
Apparently this was answered earlier in the pAC SWI-PS thread. The tech from PAC said they didn't have something for the '07 Explorer Sport Trac. Anyways, sorry for the repost.
I just had the Alpine IVA-W200 put in the '07, pics to come soon. Anyways, they were going to put in the Steering Remote hook-up, but were told by their manufacturer that there wasn't a Steering Remeote adapter for the '06/'07 Explorers out yet. Anyone know differently? I really miss my...
Picked up my new '07 Job 01 Friday. V8 4x4 Limited Edition Dark Stone Metallic, fully loaded, except the Side curtains and heated windshield. Man, the ride is so smooth compared to my '04!
Does anyway know if there is any issue about flashing the chip with the Xcal too soon...
Okay, I did it. I bought the '07 last night. Only Job 1, so I will have to put in the PDBL later. Fully loaded Dark Stone Clearcoat Limited V8. I will upload pics after I get it Friday. Anyways, I have a custom sub box under the backseat in my '04 and I was wondering I anyone knows if it...
I was kind of hoping the '07 ST would have backup sensors in it. Has anyone looked at putting some on? I talked to the dealer and they said that they couldn't add them. I know some of places will put on aftermarket ones, does anyone have experience with them?
Looks like I may be upgrading to an '07, if they decide to stop being silly about the trade in value of my '04.
I have a quick question though, because I didn't think to look, and I didn't have my daughter with me. What's the back of the centre console like? I know in '04 my centre...
I think being flexible on the return date is noble, and the right thing to do, if you could turn around and resell the product again anyways. I think someone who slices up the product and takes no care it making sure it was returned carefully does not deserve a refund. That'd be my call anyways.
We had an '84 Bronco. I loved her. I would happily pick one up for a fun truck. I could make her go anywhere. Her length and short wheelbase got me through a lot of places I could never go with my ST.
Ahhhhh... ...I noticed my tires were cupped last summer after my mechanic stored them for the winter, I was thinking it has something to do with the way they were stored. Damn Goodyears! Can't wait to buy my Duellers!
I apologize if this has already been answered, but is there any official Ford released data on what will be included in the job 2 version of the '07 Trac. I would really like to buy one, but I still refuse to buy one until they put the retractable rear window back in. But any other features...
Hello,
Here are some pics I took at the Canadian International AutoShow. Sorry, I had to significantly reduce their size and drop a few of the pics to fit them into my library.

Yeah, that's stupid. I've had people pull up to me on the street and ask about the rear window. It was a huge deal for me between the Avalanche and the ST... ...there were others, but that was a big one. I suppose I'll be going to Toyota. Time for me to start checking their site every week...
